RE101: Introduction to Renewable Energy

This one-day workshop will introduce renewable energy technologies and strategies to homeowners, contractors, and renewable energy advocates. Participants will learn how modern renewable energy systems, like solar electric photovoltaic (PV) systems can provide utility independence and/or can be used to 'buy and sell' electricity with the local utility company. Presenters will explain how the solar rebate program in the state offers dramatic cost savings. This workshop will prepare homeowners to work with local installing dealers to help them to evaluate their practical renewable energy options.
